9:10 – Apparently tiring myself both physically and mentally didn’t do much as I woke up having muscle aches all over my body. Every step down the ladder of my single loft bed was utterly depressing.
10:15 – The sky was gloomy with drizzles of rain, swiftly grabbed a black shirt which pretty much matched the mood of the day. Got out of home with Grandparents to take bus number 143, we waited very long for it but I was enjoying the wait, or rather the view at the bus stop. A lady, a little older than me was wearing a tank top with a luxurious hand bag but her hair and toned body captured my eyes. In the end, we took the same bus together; sadly she chose the first deck to sit. The bus was equipped with a free Nokia Wifi, certainly entertaining for the rather long ride to Orchard. Got out my phone and gone straight to youtube to watch some mtvs.
10:50 – Reached Orchard OG and the entrance was packed with a long queue of people, mostly, old people. Put me into an extremely crowded area such as the IT show, I can still take it but placing myself into a building filled with people at the age of 70 years and above, certainly I would faint at such overwhelming torture. Good thing my grandparents are rather hip and don’t shorten my life as much as the other oldies do. Alright you might think I am mean but who cares, they started the ageing population. After we got into OG, we met up with my cousin Tiffany a while later at the entrance then my grandmother bought her Kanebo cosmetics before I headed up to the top floor with my grandfather to search for a new pillow, yes my current one isn’t giving me good sleep. On the way up, its either me or them, they hate how thin I can get or they really really have no sense of politeness. I get blocked by fat, short and slow walking old woman then I get pushed about by fat, rather-tall and fast middle aged woman. My hands were busy shunning away from their round butts that seemed to take up most of the walk ways. When we finally got to the top floor, there were more oldies than pillows, my grandfather certainly wasn’t a big fan of crowds and randomly grabbed a pillow that was having discount. Original price was 70 over bucks and after 30% discount, 50 over bucks, then he told me, “Mine is only 20 over dollars and I bought it in Paragon; Metro. Well, this is ok, just take it.” Yea you bet! So I happily went down to find my grandmother and my cousin who are already queuing at the cashier. The queue was really long so my cousin and I decided to go take a look at clothes and after awhile she found something that she liked but since the queue was so long and my grandparents had already left the queue, she dropped it.
12:15 – Went to have lunch at a nearby food court, with my huge pillow, very awkward carrying it around Orchard.
13:15 – Walked to Plaza Singapura to take a train to Vivo City while my grandfather went to meet up with an old friend. When we reached Vivo City, the three of us went to Daiso, my grandmother’s favorite place, I think. After which, my ‘american’ cousin wanted to have ‘Tu Tu’ which at that time, I had no idea what it was till I saw it. Amazing that Vivo City actually sell such traditional food.
14:30 – Grandmother went back home while cousin and I went shopping, or rather window shopping as all the shops she went were either super branded or had very unreasonable prices. She almost got clothing at LVER but it was 140 bucks for a piece of cloth, so we left. But before that, I had already bought a Jeans-Blazer which was 99 bucks and now selling at 39.
16:45 – Left Vivo for home to put my stuff down and to get Genevieve’s shirt and the book that I was about to lend her. 45 minutes for me to get back home and get to Dhoby station, plus endure through that heavy rain.
17:24 – Reached Harborfront station watching my train leave with the monitor saying, ‘5 more minutes till the next train’. What a bummer. While in the train, Genevieve called asking what movie we should watch and I was fine with either Charlie Wilson’s War or There Will Be Blood but never did expect them to choose the art film. Well, I guess they didn’t know it was an art film till I told them. ‘them’ referring to Rachelle and Genevieve. Both movies started at 9 plus and the 7pm movies were left with only the front row.
18:05 – Had dinner at again, a food court. After dinner, with so much time to spare, Rachelle took us for a stroll through all the girly departments which was a pretty turn off. We walked from the top floor all the way to the basement and up again, simply aimless till we ended up in Spotlight where Rachelle bought paint. Having shopped the entire day, my legs were really dying and so I gave the idea of going to the theatre steps to seat which they instead were turned off, saying that I had no shame, well yea, I don’t when my legs are dying.
21:10 – Got the popcorns and went into the theatre. Was freezing in there and after half the theatre was filled, amazingly (Singaporeans watch such films?), I felt warmer. The movie was certainly excellent, loved the story and their acting were top notch, definitely deserved the Oscars. I would love to grab the novel ‘Oil’, which the movie based on.
00:04 – This was the time when I saw the credits roll, wasn’t a pleasant time as the last train was gone. As we walked out of the absolutely empty Plaza Singapura, Rachelle and I were discussing about the cab fare that we were about to share, she was really confused about it. Was really funny how she’d tried to figure it out. Genevieve on the other hand suddenly became really hyper active, certainly interesting as she wanted me to push her around the mall in a shopping cart. After Genevieve left with her dad, lucky girl, Rachelle and I took a cab and there were many cabs, she chose the oldest driver and I don’t want to know why. In the cab, she finally understood most of the movie’s story and the cab fare mathematical calculations.
01:00 – Reached home, really exhausted. With a new pillow, I’m sure this night’s sleep would be good.
02:00 – Lights out.

6:00 – Ever had this unremitting turmoil in your mind while you were trying to doze into a blank slate of sleep? Many nights have been of such, sleeping with eyes closed with my mind searching desperately for tranquility. This very day, I shall exhaust myself, physically and mentally.
6:14 – Picked up my alarm clock to check the time, another minute till it rings.
6:35 – Got dressed in a singlet with a long sleeved sweat shirt, with my mp3 player, jogged off to Kent Ridge Park. It’s been almost half a year since my last intensive exercise, but this jog around my neighborhood was pleasantly beautiful with a temperature reminding me of Canada. Going up those treacherous steps filled with wet leafs, my stamina decreased intensively, I pushed even harder but my abs couldn’t take it anymore, my legs had to reluctantly stop.
7:30 – As I was about to leave the hill for home, I met my grandparents and hitched a ride back home.
8:15 – Showered and had my breakfast with One Tree Hill.
9:05 – Did some torrent searching and DL-ing.
11:00 – Went out with gramps for some grocery shopping and lunch.
12:30 – Started reading on my book, it only took three hours of reading to get my eyes groggy. The more I tried reading, the more peevish I felt.
15:30 – Gave up reading and started doing stuff with the computer, dawdling was certainly quite pleasurable till I started chatting online.
17:00 – Crysis calls…
18:00 – My 12 hour ordeal ends, hopefully I can have a good night sleep tonight.
